What we do / Infrastructure and operations
Security and access controls
You need a clear account of who can access business data, how it is protected, and what happens when something fails.
Who this is for
Teams that need practical access controls, recovery procedures, and documented responsibilities around a business application.
What we can deliver
The final deliverables are agreed around your requirements. A typical scope covers:
- A review of access roles and data flows in scope.
- Implementation of agreed identity and access controls.
- Logging, backup, and recovery procedures suited to the system.
- Documentation of responsibilities and issues requiring specialist review.
How we work
We build identity, access controls, backups, and logging into the system, with documented responsibilities and incident procedures. Where legal review is needed, we work with outside counsel.
Planning the project
The system boundary, data sensitivity, existing controls, and specialist requirements shape the work. Technical implementation and legal advice have separate responsibilities.
What to bring to the first conversation
Describe who handles the data, who should have access, your current controls, and any contractual or regulatory requirements already identified.
Questions before you start
Does this certify regulatory compliance?
No. We implement and document the agreed technical controls. Legal interpretation, certification, and formal assurance require the appropriate specialist review.
What will the project cost, and how long will it take?
The estimate depends on requirements, content, integrations, and the first release. We agree scope, delivery stages, costs, and dependencies in a proposal before the build starts. Share a target launch date or budget range if you have one.
Who owns the code, content, and accounts?
Ownership, source-code handover, account access, and third-party licences are defined in the project agreement. We discuss these early so you understand what you can manage and what depends on an external service.
What happens after launch?
Handover and ongoing operations are planned with the project. Hosting, updates, maintenance, and support coverage are agreed explicitly, including any recurring costs.
